Every game of Omaha Hold’Em begins with those two players that are seated to the left of the dealer. These players will put money into what is called the pot and the amount is a set amount. The person who sits to the left of the dealer will post half of what is required. This person is called the first blind.

The second blind will put in the full amount. The hole cards are then distributed by the dealer. These are four cards which are dealt face down. Betting begins with the person who is seated to the left of the two who placed the blinds. From there, each player can either: raise, call, or fold. This happens at their turn to bet. When the first round of betting has been completed, the top card of the deck is then discarded. It’s done to make sure no one cheated and saw what it was. Then they continue betting rounds where again, players can raise, call, or fold. The dealer will then discard another card. When that is done, the person to the left of dealer will then take over starting the bidding of the third round. Before the final face up card, the dealer will discard one more card. During the final betting players are then allowed to use three of the community cards when they were given five. Then they are to use two of the four hole cards that they have. The fourth round is begun by the person sitting to the left of the dealer.

This is the final round. Those remaining reveal their hands with the person to raise the bet last to show first. The best hand wins. It is really simple and you will love this game.
